BOOKING TERMS
We like to keep things nice and simple here, so out Terms of Booking are quite straightforward!
By making a booking on our site you will be considered to have read and agreed to the Terms of Booking.

Payment - For all bookings we require a 20% non-refundable deposit payable at time of booking. We will send you an email to confirm your booking. The balance is due 4 weeks before arrival if staying at The Hut and 6 weeks before arrival is staying at The Cottage. We accept payment by Paypal or direct bank transfer.

Booking Confirmation - Please note that your booking is not confirmed until you have received a confirmation email. Please check your junk folders too if you cannot find it. Please give us a call to ensure we have received & can confirm your booking.

Non Availability - We would only cancel your booking if our accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We will attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. However, if this was not possible, or was unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies minus deposit paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Prices at The Hut - Prices for The Hut are per night for 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child (aged 12 or over) and include a breakfast hamper.

Prices at The Cottage - Prices vary according to time of year & length of stay but start at £130 per night for short breaks with a 20% discount for full week stays that is already calculated into the price displayed on the booking system. There is a £20 cleaning fee per stay at the cottage, added automatically during the booking process.
Dogs at The Hut - Unfortunately we cannot accommodate dogs.

Dogs at The Cottage - We are happy to welcome dogs at The Cottage and can accomodate 2 small or 1 large dog at a cost of £20 per dog which is added during the booking process.

Cancellation at The Hut - In the unlikely event that you need to cancel your booking, these are our cancellation Terms & Conditions. If cancellation occurs within 14 days of arrival 50% of the full cost of your stay will be charged against the card details provided. Cancellation within 48hrs of arrival (or non-arrival) will result in the full amount being charged. We will endeavour to re-let The Hut on your behalf and, if successful, will refund the cost less the 20% deposit. To avoid misunderstanding, we recommend all our guests insure against cancellation.

Cancellation at The Cottage - If cancellation occurs within 6 weeks of arrival 100% of the full cost of your stay will be charged against the card details provided. We will endeavour to re-let The Hut on your behalf and, if successful, will refund the cost less the 20% deposit. To avoid misunderstanding, we recommend all our guests insure against cancellation.
Arrival & Departure - When staying at The Hut we kindly ask that you arrive no earlier than 4pm (unless otherwise agreed), & vacate no later than 11am (unless otherwise agreed) to allow us to complete thorough cleaning of the hut & washroom facilities. When staying at The Cottage arrival is after 3pm and departure by 10am. Thankyou for your cooperation with this.
No Smoking Policy - We have a strict no smoking policy INSIDE both our properties.

Wedding stays - If you are getting married at Eyam Hall, we understand that your day & celebrations are important to you. For this reason we have a minimum stay policy of 2 nights in The Hut & 3 nights in The Cottage. It means that you do not have to get up early & rush to check out after your special day. Please call us directly with any questions & make a note of your wedding date at time of booking.
