This is a short list of places we like to go to eat & drink, if you can’t see what you’re looking for, just ask, we’d be pleased to point you in the right direction! In no particular order we like. When you stay at our shepherd's hut B&B accommodation, there's plenty to do!
Walking - The Peak District is renowned for its beautiful scenery. There are many great walks & routes on our doorstep for you to explore. The Pennine Way along the rugged backbone of England from Edale crossing Kinder Scout, the highest point in the Peak District at 636 metres. Please ask if you need any help in deciding where to go or have a look at Visit Peak District.
Climbing - The Peak District has some of the most challenging and popular rock climbing routes in Europe including the internationally important Stanage Edge, close by Eyam. Many world-class climbers live in and around the area, sharpening their skills on its challenging cliffs, edges and boulders. Regardless of whether you are an enthusiastic beginner or world-class athlete, there are plenty of crags for you to discover.
Cycling - Monsal Trail Cycle Hire - Enjoy the Monsal Trail by bike. A great day out in the beautiful Peak District, and now the spectacular tunnels are open there's nothing to stop you! See website for more information.
